Daimler "Reitwagen"



Another invention by Daimler and Maybach was the "Reitwagen" (Riding-Car) in 1885,

the first Motorcycle with a Petrol engine.

Then the installation of a Gasoline Engine in a Boat was the invention of the Motorboat.

In October 1886 he installed his Engine in a Coach built by William Wimpf,

which regarded as the first four- wheeled Motor Vehicle.

( The Motor-Cars of Carl Benz had only three Wheels. And the existing opinion that Siegfried Marcus in 1875 invented a Car before Daimler and Benz is rebutted by clear historical sources).

 1887 Daimler planted an engine in an exhibition-Tram and in the same year he and Maybach built a Truck.
